Philosophy
I’ve had the honor of coaching Div. I golf for 20 years. I have worked with some extremely talented and gifted athletes. I am also humbled and proud to reflect upon the amazing relationships I have developed with coaches, athletic directors and many, many other individuals associated with college golf during that time. This coaching platform has enabled me to work closely with junior and collegiate golfers who all began their golf journeys with a dream of playing college golf and for many, professional golf. There is absolutely no better way to go through college than being part of a collegiate team and competing at the highest level possible after high school.
My goal for every junior golfer is to continue developing their skills both on and off the golf course, so they will be best prepared for the transition into college. As a junior golfer you need to understand the commitment, discipline, time and passion needed to compete at each level of college athletics. There are many levels of collegiate golf and one of these levels will be the perfect fit athletically and academically for you. Whether it is Div. I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA level, the right fit will rise to the top as we whittle you into who you are as a student, golfer and person.
We will work together to realize how the choices you make daily influence and effect your life. You will hear me talk a lot about “what are you doing today that will make you a better person, golfer and student tomorrow?” You must be prepared to do the work and understand the commitment it takes for you to fulfill your dreams.
